Pearls of the King

What really helped me a ton was knowing the following:

1. Everything we do, is working for a bigger greater cause than we could ever imagine. The kingdom of God. It’s a tangible result of impacting more lives, with one step at a time, this is not a kingdom where every man is for themselves, we are all here working as a team towards expanding the Kingdom of God

2. As a king, your work is not less than a priests work, in fact, your work is a holy act, and must be respected as such. (Personally this helped with how I view my time spent working on the business through out the week, I knew it was also something to dedicate unto the Lord and was an act I don’t need to feel guilt for in exchange for reading or praying)

3. Your spouses opinion matters a ton, prior to reading this, I would hear what my wife would say, and make excuses. Now when I hear her give me any piece of advice I take it, and run with it, even if it doesn’t feel like it makes sense. She is anointed to be in my life and make sure we complete the mission. Her gut feelings will trump my “Business Knowledge” always.

4. The Joseph mantle, the man who became the CFO of the world at the time, spent around 13 years in prison, just before he became CFO. God can change things in a heart beat. Just remain patient, faithful, and don’t be sharing your dreams with just anybody, it could lead to you being sold into slavery.

5. Get involved in your local church! God blesses that which is planted and rooted in his kingdom, get rooted in a church so God can bless and multiply the labour of your hand.

Lee Domingue’s story shared throughout the book, helped bring hope and shared a huge amount of insight into the struggles that business owners face, is not faced alone.
